Who we are *

The Press Box Theater was founded on a simple but powerful belief: that transformative live performance should be accessible, artistically ambitious, and rooted in community. As a nonprofit theater company, we develop and produce original musicals, plays, concerts, comedy events, staged readings, and educational programs that bring artists and audiences together in meaningful ways.

Our productions include both bold new works and established titles that audiences know and love. Whether it's a world premiere or a classic revival, our goal is to present shows that resonate, entertain, and leave a lasting impression.

The theater itself was built from the ground up by converting the former warehouse space of Prime Publishers, Inc. into a fully equipped black box theater—a flexible, intimate venue designed to support powerful storytelling and live performance at every scale.

Our mission is to deliver exceptional, emotionally resonant experiences—whether it's a full-scale musical, a stripped-down solo show, or a conversation that challenges expectations. We support talented creatives, bring high standards to every production, and strive for excellence in every detail, from the first rehearsal to the final curtain.

We're not just producing shows. We're building a lasting home for creativity, collaboration, and unforgettable experiences.
